1904-Evno Azef: organized and headed the assassination of the Minister of the Interior Vyacheslav von Plehve. Born as Evno Fishelevich Azef to a Jewish family in Lyskava (now Brest Voblast, Belarus) in 1869, he joined the (Jewish) Combat Organization in 1902 and became its head in 1903.
