Let me take you along to Faro International Airport (LPFR) located in the Algarve, Portugal! Faro, Madeira, Azores, Porto and Lisbon are absolute must-visits when traveling to Portugal. The Algarve region, located in the southernmost part of Portugal, is renowned for its stunning beaches, charming towns & villages, rich history, famous caves and grottoes, outdoor activities and the mild climate. The video shows what it's like to fly a Standard Terminal Arrival Route/Standard Arrival Route (STAR) in a Boeing 737-800 in Faro. Interesting facts, approach landing charts, actual call-outs and Boeing procedures were added to provide a sense of everything that is going on inside the cockpit during approach, landing and taxi.
