Tjueni år etter hendelsene i Iron Sky har den tidligere nazi-månebasen blitt menneskehetens siste tilfluktssted. Jorden ble ødelagt av atomkrig, men begravd dypt under jordens overflate ligger en kraft som kan redde siste rest av menneskeheten – eller ødelegge den en gang for alle. Sannheten bak skapelsen av menneskeheten vil bli avslørt når en gammel fiende leder heltene våre ut på et eventyr inn i jordens hulrom. For å redde menneskeheten må de kjempe mot «vrilene», en urgammel krypdyrart og deres hær av dinosaurer.
