In light of an increase in antisemetic hate across the country, especially within institutions of higher education, Virginia Attorney General wrote a letter to state university and college leaders to warn about the prevalence of antisemitism on university ground.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, over 350 antisemitic incidents took place on college and university campuses during the 2021-22 academic year.

Institutions must take action and do what they can to reject Jewish hate.

Religious discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
