Published on Jun 4, 2021
Otto Johann Anton Skorzeny was an Austrian-born German SS-Obersturmbannfhrer in the Waffen-SS during World War II. During the war, he was involved in several operations, including the removal from power of Hungarian Regents Horthy and the Gran Sasso Raid which rescued Benito Mussolini from captivity.

The life of Otto Skorzeny is one shrouded in mystery and questions, so many of his motives remain unclear and he seemed to be working for both sides at once, on the one hand helping fellow SS officers escape to Latin America but on the other hand, killing Nazi officials hiding out on behalf of Mossad.
