BIZARRE MILITARY UNITS | 13th Waffen SS 'Handschar': Nazi Muslims Warriors

The elite and racially pure SS, prided on its Aryan roots criteria, and its elite status had the most diverse make up and one of the SS stranger but most well known is one of 3 SS Muslim Divisions, 13th SS Handshar, comprised of Bosnian Muslims and Croat Catholics. Let us therefore look at this strange, but true, unit a little closer.

It is moreover intended to show that the Waffen SS, despite its generally help perception of being only Blonde Haired, Blue-Eyed 'Aryans' was in fact comprised of many different nationalities and religions. Furthermore, the video does not nor does it seek to imply that the SS Handshar was in anyway comprised of members who were involved in the Holocaust or instrumental in the Holocaust due to the religion of a majority of its members. Finally, the video is not intended to glorify or honour any member of an organisation that has been declared as criminal by the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials and is intended to be an educational and factual look into this particular SS unit.
