Hugo Boss: Why Were The National Socialists So Stylish?

Hugo Boss is still worn by many today as a coded message for National Socialism, so is Adidas. Adidas founder Adolf Dassler was a member of the NSDAP, I am not sure about Hugo Boss, but most likely they were as well. Does anybody know about this?
