📺 These words were said yesterday evening on live television by Ali Rabeh, while arguing against his political opponent Jordan Bardella.
👨ðŸ»â€ðŸ¦± Jordan Bardella is the acting president of the main French far-right party, and has recently been indicted for describing the city of Trappes as an “Islamic Republicâ€.
👨ðŸ½Ali Rabeh is a Muslim of Moroccan background, and the current far-left mayor of Trappes. His city is said to be 70% Muslim, and is infamously known for having been the biggest exporter of soldiers to the Islamic State throughout Europe.
🗣 This isn't the first time far-left politicians voiced such rhetorics: the president of the far-left party, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, often spoke of the " (https://twitter.com/JLMelenchon/status/1486805299499520000)créolisation (https://twitter.com/JLMelenchon/status/1486805299499520000)" of France (https://twitter.com/JLMelenchon/status/1486805299499520000), créole being a word used to describe the race-mixed demographics in the French colonies.
