Hundreds demonstrated against compulsory COVID-19 vaccination in European Square, Kiev, on Sunday.

Participants were seen gathering before marching to Taras Shevchenko Park. Several held placards calling for compliance with the constitution and featuring slogans against compulsory vaccination.

Local police monitored the event, with no arrests reported during the demonstration.

Protests in the country began after the Ministry of Health approved a list of professions requiring mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations in October. The list included school employees and healthcare workers, as well as officials, central government administration staff and social services.
