Vatican Says Stop Converting Jews To Catholicism

The Vatican is urging Catholics not to convert Jews, but to aid them in the fight against anti-Semitism. In the past, Catholics denounced Jews for not believing in Jesus, however, this new document from the Vaticanâ€™s Commission for Religious Relations with Jews has emphasized how the two religions are intertwined. The document coincides with the 50th anniversary of a Vatican repudiation of the concept of collective Jewish guilt for Jesusâ€™ death. Margaret J.
