After attempting to meet with a 14-year-old boy for sex, Allen ISD Foundation board member Neil Riddick has resigned his position. Riddick was caught on video in a sting operation conducted by Cassady Campbell, a Dallas actor and comedian. In addition to prank and parody videos, Campbell has become known for a series of undercover videos in which he captures on camera unsuspecting child predators attempting to meet with minors, similar to Dateline NBCâ€™s To Catch a Predator series.

In the latest video, Campbell catches Neil Riddick, an insurance and financial services agent with Tallie O. Young & Associates. His biography notes his involvement in Allen ISD, as well as the Boy Scouts of America. He also says he works part time at Chick-fil-A. The 61-year-old is seen on video being greeted by a decoy posing as a 14-year-old boy whom he met on Grindr, an app designed for gay sexual encounters. Riddick says he likes touching and kissing, and asks the decoy to remove his clothes.

Thatâ€™s when Campbell enters the room.

When caught, Riddick claims on video that he would not have done anything sexual â€œtoday,â€ but that he â€œwould probably kissâ€ the young man. Riddick also claims that while he has met up with several people over the past few years, this was the first time he attempted to meet with someone underageâ€”admitting he believed him to be a minor. Riddick resigned from the Allen ISD Foundation board on Wednesday as the video began to circulate on the internet. The foundation quickly removed references to him from their website.

We need to get back to public punishment of various kinds for these predators.
