â–ºWe've heard a lot over the past couple of weeks about government plans to send some asylum seekers to Rwanda for processing. But many still need accommodation here in the UK. One proposal is to house some 15 hundred asylum seekers at an old RAF base in a small North Yorkshire village. But the local council opposes the plans, which would effectively triple the population of Linton-on-Ouse.
