Many people are waking up to the fact that our world is going in a terribly wrong direction. These are not normal times. The humiliating and disgraceful manner in which the United States and its allies pulled out of Afghanistan, is more evidence that the American empire is in a steep decline and the fallout from this disaster will have long-lasting consequences. In addition, we see record-setting heat and drought in much of North America, Australia, and many other parts of the world.
