SAJFP hosted an IAW week discussion with Shir Hever, Khury Petersen-Smith and William Shoki.

The drones used along the USA-Mexico border come from Israel. The teargas used against Palestinian protesters is imported from the USA. Israeli companies supply Myanmar’s military regime with guns. South African armoured 'riot control' vehicles use Israeli technology, and British bombs are dropped by Israeli pilots on the Gaza strip. Israeli police train and arm Brazilian police in Favelas, and US companies market their weapons as being ‘battle tested’ on Palestinians.

This webinar exposes the interconnected network of the Global military export industry. Shir Hever (Germany) will unpack Israel’s massive arms export market, Khury Petersen-Smith (USA) will speak about police brutality used against Black Lives Matter protestors, and William Shoki (SA) will discuss policing in SA both historically and today
