Did the animals in The Garden of Eden die.
Jim - YES.
Diane - NO. I don’t believe Adam and Eve really understood what GOD meant by “death” and Satan knew it. Thus, he could bandy about the word, DEATH. It sounded pretty bad since God said it was a consequence of disobedience. (Not until after the fall was there death. Further, if it’s not in the Scriptures, one cannot ASSUME).
*** Animals in the Garden of Eden: (A synopsis: After the fall, as God had promised, Adam and Eve became mortal. They and their children would experience sickness, pain, and physical death. Because of their transgression, Adam and Eve also suffered spiritual death. This meant they and their children could not walk and talk face to face with God.)
*** Genesis 2: 16,17 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
***Romans 5:12: (DEATH ENTERED INTO THE WORLD THROUGH MAN's SIN) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
***Romans 8:18-22: (ALL OF CREATION SUFFERED FOR ADAM'S/MAN'S SIN TO BE REMEDIED WITH THE RETURN OF CHRIST) 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
