Israeli crackdown on Palestinians after attack on Jewish pilgrims trigger clashes in West Bank

Israelâ€™s military said civilians were injured when Palestinians opened fire on their car while they were visiting the West Bank city of Nablus. The incident took place when a group of Jewish worshippers entered the Palestinian-controlled city to make the pilgrimage to Josephâ€™s Tomb. The tomb is believed by some Jews to be the resting place of the biblical Joseph. After gunfire broke out, Israeli forces swarmed the area and evacuated the civilians. The shooting has left two of the civilians injured
