Migrant encounters at the southern border soared past the 200,000 mark once again in August hitting a new high for the calendar year and marking the highest August on record.

Border patrol sources told FOX News reporter Griff Jenkins that there were approximately 11,000 migrant encounters at southwest border in just the last 24 hours marking the “single highest day in recent memory.”
