On January 6, as prescribed in the US Constitution, the Congress, in joint session, certified the Election of Donald Trump as President and JD Vance as Vice-President. Presiding President of the Senate Kamala Harris making the announcements. As with other election related events since early November, some did not take this news well. There was rage. There were meltdowns.
