On July 1, 2015, 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle was walking on San Francisco's Pier 14 with her father when she was shot an killed. Jose Inés García Zarate who was then known as Juan Francisco López-Sánchez, an undocumented immigrant is accused of her murder.

The Steinle family reflects on the circumstances surrounding the death of their daughter, Kathryn.
