Police in Germany say a number of people have been killed and injured in a suspected knife attack in the western city of Solingen.
At the time of the attack, celebrations were under way to mark the 650th anniversary of the city being founded.
German newspaper Bild is reporting that the suspect stabbed people at random at the festival.
The attacker is believed to have fled the scene, and police have launched a manhunt.
