Nepal is at the centre of a delicate geopolitical balancing act, as the world’s superpowers court it with major investments in areas such as energy and infrastructure. The United States is deepening security ties with allies like Japan and South Korea, while pursuing closer relations with others in the region, including Nepal. However, Nepal’s new prime minister is seen by some as being friendly towards Beijing. CNA's Jagruti Dave reports.
