HH HOLDS TALKS WITH TRUDEAU

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says government is focused on restoring Zambia's credibility to the world.

President HICHILEMA says it is time the country takes its rightful position on the global map, and network with other nations for the benefit of citizens.

He also says the Covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated that countries are better prepared when they network and work as a team.

The President said this in an interview after holding bilateral talks with Canadian Prime Minister, JUSTIN TRUDEAU in Kigali, Rwanda.

And President HICHILEMA said Zambia is grateful to Canada for complimenting government efforts to better the lives of citizens.

He said Zambians are looking forward to enhanced trade, investment and cooperation between the two countries.

And Mr. TRUDEAU said Canada is also looking forward to deepening its relationship with Zambia in technology, environmental protection and other areas of interest.

President HICHILEMA also held bilateral talks with Singaporean Prime Minister, LEE HSIEN LOONG.
