Arriving home to a meteorite in her garden, along with local police, scientists and the military, a farmer's wife helps welcome an alien being to Earth. Singing and offerings of tea ensue.
Although from an 80s 'Candid Camera' show in Britain, this clip has been uploaded here as a demonstration of how nobody can pull off a hoax like the British, and how most ordinary people, when faced with trusted authority figures, especially those whom they know personally, with trust these people over their own eyes and instincts. "The alien DID look plasticky", said the victim of the prank afterwards, just as millions of vaccine victims will say in coming years... "the vaccine DID look dodgy".
