BUSTED: Undercover police operation nabs 4 suspects in candle-stealing scheme

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C (WCIV) — A two-day undercover operation at Northwoods Mall busted a shoplifting ring, resulting in four arrests, according to the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD).

The operation was put into action on July second and third and detectives were able to prove 27 different thefts worth over $17,000 in stolen items.
