Diese originalen Farbfilm-Aufnahmen der US-Armee zeigen verschiedene StÃ¤dte und SchauplÃ¤tze in Deutschland nach der Kapitulation im Jahr 1945. Die Bilder entstanden unter dem Kommando von George Stevens, einem Regisseur aus Hollywood, der spÃ¤ter unter anderem fÃ¼r seine Filme "Ein Platz an der Sonne" und "Das Tagebuch der Anne Frank" bekannt wurde.

Die Bild- und Farbrestaurierung wurde mithilfe kÃ¼nstlicher Intelligenz durchgefÃ¼hrt.
