A total of 112 residents who survived a fatal fire at Evergreen Home for Adults have been relocated to homes across the Hudson Valley and Brooklyn.

Some were sent to Golden Acres in Spring Valley, around 30 people were sent to Village View Home in Ulster County, as well as The Belvedere in Brooklyn.

One of the home's residents died after getting taken to the hospital.
First responders jumped into the burning building early Tuesday morning, including 40 members of Chaverim of Rockland, a group of emergency volunteers.

It took them minutes to arrive on the scene, help pull residents out, and use buses from local yeshivas to move residents to safety.

Evergreen is working to connect family members with their loved ones who lived in the facility and ask people to call them at 973-378-1997.
