A protester threw eggs at a statue of Margaret Thatcher just hours after it was installed in her hometown today.
Footage shared on Sunday morning shows a man throwing a box of eggs, with one smashing against the lower part of the statue, which has been installed in Grantham in Lincolnshire.
Passing motorists also loudly booed the monument, with one shouting â€œtear it downâ€ and another saying â€œthis is no good for Grantham, is it?â€
