Jesus existed and here are NON BIBLICAL historical accounts of that fact. Assertion of his supposed non existence did not surface until the 18th century as jewish influence in academic circles started to grow with the "enlightenment". Until then no one denied his existence, though there were people who denied his divinity. No contemporary scholar of antiquities of note denies Jesus existence either.
