In 2009 Brendon O'Connell confronted Jews Stanley Keyser and Timothy Peach who were seen filming a protest by the group Friends of Palestine which was held outside a Perth supermarket selling Israeli oranges. On the basis of this video O'Connell was charged with 5 counts of racial hatred.
