Why is Iran’s Navy Expanding it’s presence in international Waters. It’s mainly to protect Iran’s interest and fight back against the Somali pirates who have already attacked and took hostages not just from Iran but from around the world in return for money .This made Iran not look at scene but just to take direct action and save / assist any ship or oil tanker under attack .This was how Iran started its fight against Pirates .Few years back Iran navy saved Chinese ship which became World news Headlines. This move was appreciated by world power as it made international Waters safer for ships
