Jenin attack: 'Israel does not have the right to defend its occupation'

Marwan Bishara, Al Jazeera’s senior political analyst, says "Israel does not have the right to defend its occupation, or its settlers, or its soldiers on occupied land."

“Israel is an occupying power and does not have a right to be so five decades later,” he said.

Israeli forces hit Jenin with air strikes and ground raids carried out by hundreds of soldiers, killing at least eight Palestinians.
