UN warns its humanitarian work in Gaza may soon come to a halt

Israel will deny visas to United Nations officials over remarks by Secretary-General Antonio Guterres about the bombing in Gaza, the country's ambassador to the UN has said.
“Due to his remarks we will refuse to issue visas to UN representatives,” Gilad Erdan said on Wednesday.
Mr Guterres had sparked a row with Israel on Tuesday when he accused it of collectively punishing the Palestinian people over the “the horrifying and unprecedented" terror attacks by Hamas.
