This video captures the Ride For Freedom Modern Slavery Awareness Day at Northbury Primary School, Barking & Dagenham London. Across three
assemblies, reaching approximately 700 pupils, the children learned about freedom, fairness, and exploitation, and how these concepts relate to modern slavery, through the lens of cycling.

The Ride For Freedom Schools Programme will educate and empower more than 4,000 children in modern slavery awareness and cycling proficiency during 2023. The initiative is supported by Be First Regeneration, the London borough of Barking & Dagenham's housing development arm, Vandome Cycles and several parents associated with Barking & Dagenham Cycling Club.
We would like to give a special thanks to Mr Kaitell from Hunters Hall Primary School who has been a vital part in helping with the programme.
