Hacked: The Bangladesh Bank Heist - The story of the world's biggest cyberheist.
Hacked: The Bangladesh Bank Heist
Genre: Documentary
Runtime: 0h 51min
Language: English
Storyline:
Andrew Wilson investigates one of the world’s most audacious cyberheists. Hackers pulled off a very modern bank robbery stealing 81 million dollars, but it could have been much, much worse. They tried to get almost a billion dollars and might have succeeded if it hadn’t been for a simple coincidence. The programme follows the trail of the stolen money from Dhaka, to Manila and New York and tells how the thieves managed to compromise two of the most respected names in international banking, the SWIFT messaging system and the New York Federal Reserve.
