On February 3rd 2021, World BEYOND War moderated a webinar hosted by a coalition of 50+ organizations to oppose illegal Israeli military recruitment in Canada. Speakers included Rabbi David Mivasair, attorney John Philpot, Aseel al Bajeh of Al-Haq Palestine, and Ruba Ghazal, member of the National Assemblée du Québec.

The webinar was part of a campaign launched in the fall with a formal complaint and a public letter signed by Noam Chomsky, Roger Waters, Ken Loach, former MP Jim Manly, as well as poet El Jones and author Yann Martel, and many others asking Justice Minister David Lametti to investigate recruitment taking place in Canada for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
