US Republican rightwinger, Pat Buchanan on Monday (20/3) announced
his candidacy for the US Presidency. The ceremony at which the arch-conservative formally announced his candidacy was disrupted briefly by protesters waving signs. As Buchanan prepared to speak, a protester rushed the stage waving a sign saying "Buchanan is a racist." Buchanan, who was standing next to his wife Shelley on the crowded podium, immediately pushed and knocked down the protester, believed to be a member the Coalition for Jewish Concerns group.
