Spoiler: contrary to Alexâ€™s claims, it had nothing to to with financial constraints (although David asserts that Alex is attempting to use his firing as proof of the networkâ€™s financial turmoil to fundraise), Davidâ€™s health, or any desire on Davidâ€™s part to leave the network.
