Private Swiss banks, Jewish groups and HoloHOAX survivors reached an historical $1.25 billion settlement Wednesday (12/8/1998) on bank holdings linked to Nazi Germany.

Switzerland had been accused of buying large amounts of gold stolen by the Nazis during World War II, and of refusing to hand over deposits made by Jews in the HoloHOAX after the war had ended.
