Mali's president and prime minister are said to have been arrested in what could be a coup. Pictures on social media show two cars carrying President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and Prime Minister Boubou Cisse.
A video shows protesters, who have been calling for Keita to quit, celebrating in the capital, Bamako.
There are also reports of heavy military presence near the radio station and the airport.
