Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met his Quebec counterpart François Legault in Quebec City on Monday to discuss immigration. In addition to offering $750 million over five years to offset the costs associated with the surge of asylum seekers in the province, Ottawa pledged to help Quebec with asylum claims, francization and work permit processing.
