Africa, a continent endowed with immense natural and human resources as well as great cultural, ecological and economic diversity, remains underdeveloped.
Most African nations suffer from military dictatorships, corruption, civil unrest and war, underdevelopment and deep poverty.
Road infrastructure for example is a great contributor to development. Most parts of Africa are inaccessible today because of there are no roads. Electricity connectivity and internet penetration is also another way a country can improve its development and most African countries lag behindon this.
When looking at Sub Saharan Africa in general and comparing the 4 regions namely West, Central, East and South Africa you find that the more democratic region in the South happen to be the most developed in terms of infrastructure,Freedom, life expectancy, internet and literacy rate.
Another region that is developing at a first pace is East Africa. The region has embarked on a massive infrastructural development, Electricity, Internet , Road and railway transport and even air travel.
On the other hand little is happening in Central Africa and the region of West Africa. Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal have some impressive projects but not anywhere close to what is taking place in East Africa as you will soon find out.

So what is happening in East Africa that is making the region develop faster than West Africa
