#SYRIA #demandsISRAEL should be held accountable for its aggressions
Syria's government on Thursday demanded that the #UNSecurityCouncil should act to prevent the repetition of Israeli attacks against its territory and that Tel Aviv should be held accountable for its crimes and aggressions.
Syria is still committed to international law and reiterates its demand to the Council to assume its responsibilities under the UN Charter, and to take steadfast and immediate measures to prevent the recurrence of such attacks, says a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry.
The text urges questioning and holding Israel accountable for its terrorism and crimes committed against the Syrian and Palestinian peoples, and for its continued support of terrorist organizations.
