Universal Credit: The DWP are bringing back benefits sanctions, conditionality and the Universal Credit claimant commitment from today. Despite pleas from opposition politicians to extend the 3 month suspension of sanctions, DWP Secretary Therese Coffey confirmed that reducing benefits would be an option for DWP staff once again from the 1st of July.
