Lebanese singer Ali Barakat, a staunch supporter of Hizbullah, said that he wished to become a suicide bomber and blow himself up among enemy soldiers at the behest of Hizbullah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. Barakat made these comments during an interview that aired on Al-Jadeed TV (Lebanon) on January 26, 2021. He added that Hizbullah’s leader would not even have to ask this from him, but merely allow him to blow himself up among an enemy of Nasrallah’s choosing. However, Barakat said that he would not be willing to do the same on behalf of Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
