Israel launched strikes on Gaza and Lebanon early on Friday in retaliation for rocket attacks it blamed on the Islamist group Hamas. Israel-Palestien tensions have flared following police raids this week on the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, FRANCE 24's Irris Makler reports.
