WAFFLECHASER

This channel is meant to showcase a variety of works, many done from the perspective of Absurdist Cinema.  The value in this is that it shows the part of ourselves that is typically suppressed in our intensely rationalistic society: that is, the more primal self, the seat of emotion, creativity, vision, and many other lost treasures.  This vision is, in many ways, the OPPOSITE of the vision that is fed to us by the mass media, filmed very simply with a large selection of talented and unique theater and film actors who, for the most part, were very supportive of the vision and wanted to do something different from what they were usually offered.  "Usually on auditions," one female performer said, "I am told to 'bring it down' until there is nothing left.  That's what they seem to want nowadays: wooden, no-energy performances which they call 'realistic' acting.  I call it BORING!  That's why I love your vision... I feel that I can give all of myself to it, I can show expression and be silly."
