Low angle L/S of a church spire. At the very top, clinging onto the weather cock, the figure of a man waving a handkerchief can be seen. He shakes his legs and puts his hat onto the cock. We then see him begin to slide down the edge of the spire. L/S, looking over the heads of a crowd of onlookers, of Ager making his way down the side of the church.
C/U of a very youthful Ager handing the retrieved handkerchief to the Vicar, Ager then shakes hands with the Vicar and another man, a crowd, mainly of boys, stand in the background.
