On June 18, a post titled "Chinese tourists are really going too far, everyone must see this!" was uploaded on the South Korean online community "Jeju mom cafe," accompanied by a photo. The photo showed a young child defecating next to a tree along a bustling street in Lotte-dong, Jeju City. A woman, appearing to be the child’s mother, stood by, with another female companion next to her, surrounded by a crowd of passing tourists.
