Watch highlights from the B'nai B'rith World Center 2022 Journalism award ceremony held in Jerusalem, Israel on July 6. The award is widely recognized as the most prestigious prize in the Israeli media industry for diaspora reportage and was established to help strengthen the relationship between Israel and the diaspora.
Winners of the 2022 Award:
• Ariel Kahana, political correspondent at Yisrael Hayom for articles on anti-Semitism in the United States, and Israel-Diaspora relations during the COVID pandemic
• Yisrael Katzover, diplomatic and military reporter and commentator at Hamodia, received a Certificate of Merit for articles on Jewish communities in Arab countries
• Shlomo Nakdimon, Yedioth Ahronoth journalist received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his extensive and exceptional body of work, which spans more than six decades
• Naomi Shemer (z"l): A special citation for Fostering Israel-Diaspora Relations through the Arts was presented to renowned singer, guitarist and composer Shuli Natan in memory of Naomi Shemer.
