Full title reads: "Palestine - Martial Law Declared".

After the terrorist bombing outrage on the Goldsmith officers club in Jerusalem, Israel martial law was declared.

MS LS the wreckage of the Goldsmith officers club. MS LS Troops clearing up and attending to casualties. MS an officer, one of the four who were sunbathing on the roof when the explosion occurred, climbing down a ladder.

CU MS British troops lining streets with barbed wire. LS MS Troops on foot and in jeeps patrolling the streets, and searching pedestrians and premises. Captured men are off loaded from an army lorry. Some groups of men are lined up behind wire fences. MS British troops on patrol. MS LS Inhabitants view the proceedings with trepidation from windows and balconies. MS troops patrol in bren carriers and armoured cars.
